A wristband is a bracelet-like band that is somehow similar to a wristwatch. Wristbands are made from rubber, leather, and fabric. But since 2001, rubber band bracelets have been mostly made from silicon, a cheap and highly flexible material. Also known as jelly, gel, or rubber wristbands, silicone bracelets could be produced as plain or branded pieces. Plain wristbands provide buyers and sellers with customization opportunities, while branded silicone bracelets come with company or personal information already printed, embossed, or debossed on them.

What are the uses of wristbands?

Wristbands are useful in marketing, identification, and fashion. To start with, silicone bracelets are bought in large numbers, branded, and then sold or handed over to customers as cheap merchandise to support a certain event, product, or company. For this reason, they are sometimes referred to as awareness bracelets or ribbons. Another use of wristbands is for identification. Wristbands made from pieces of fabric can be bought and sold to sportspeople. They are commonly worn by tennis players to be used as-on-the-pitch handkerchiefs. But before you sell them, ensure the wristbands are made from a sweat-absorbent material such as cotton and are easy to clean. Additionally, the wristbands must be able to expand for easy wearing.
