About products and suppliers

Aluminum cases are an excellent alternative for transporting, protecting, and storing valuable equipment. Extruded aluminum cases are perfect for applications that are subjected to intense electromagnetic fields, high temperatures, and corrosive conditions. Custom aluminum case finishes can be either anodized natural (bright metal finish) or dyed to a select range of colors at the client’s request. Alternatively, they can be powder coated for a very durable finish in an unlimited range of colors from discrete, for camouflage, to attention-grabbing, for safety equipment. Aluminum cases are suitable for use in a wide range of special conditions, including sanitary and clean rooms, food service areas, and several volatile applications. It is also completely recyclable.

What are the different types of aluminum cases?

Aluminum cases fall into two different groups: custom and modular. Custom aluminum cases provide very specific environmental and transit protection for costly pieces of equipment. These cases are manufactured of rigidized sheets and are custom-designed to fit their specific application. The ERV modular enclosures are based around the 19" rack system. These small aluminum case widths are always the same, and their height is determined by how many 'U's the system has. Another variable is depth. This has enabled the construction of a streamlined manufacturing system that has reduced delivery times while also improving performance.

What are the advantages of aluminum cases?

Aluminum has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is highly resistant to practically all chemicals that cause corrosion and weathering, such as seawater. As a result, shipping and carrying element aluminum cases have significantly higher fracture toughness than the majority of other materials utilized in case building. Additionally, exposure to UV rays for long periods has no effect. Awning aluminum cases are also resistant to impacts, mechanical breakage, and propagation of fractures; it does not easily stress, tear, or crack. An aluminum case with foam is good for RFI/EMI shielding and ESD control (electrostatic discharge). Aluminum is also an effective reflector of externally induced interference, such as radio and radar frequencies.
