Advantages of plexiglass boxes

The benefits of the clear plexiglass box mainly depend on its material—plexiglass, also called Acrylic. It is made from plastic and has become a popular and affordable alternative to standard and safety glass. The advantages of such kind of boxes are listed as follows.

First, a great advantage of acrylic glass is that it is two times lighter compared to standard glass. Meanwhile, plexiglass is up to 30 times stronger than standard glass. Disadvantages of plexiglass boxes

While the acrylic glass display case has the pros of plexiglass, it also has the cons of the material. For example, it is not very scratch-resistant or heat-resistant. When exposed to sunlight, certain types of acrylic plastic glass will turn yellow, which may be unattractive and give it a low-quality appearance. Moreover, the economic cost of plastic fabrication is steeper than that of glass. Plexiglass is more difficult to restore and reuse than normal glass and plastic production, the main cause of greenhouse gas emissions.
