About products and suppliers

Saw blades are a generic term for thin circular knives used to cut solid materials. Saw blades can be divided into diamond saw blades for stone cutting, high-speed steel saw blades for metal cutting (without carbide tips), carbide saw blades for cutting solid wood, furniture, artificial boards, aluminum alloy, aluminum profiles, radiators, plastics, plastics, and so on.

What are the available types of saw blades?

Based on the material classification, there are high-speed steel saw blades, whole cemented carbide saw blades, tungsten steel saw blades, alloy saw blades with teeth, diamond saw blades and so on. High-speed steel (HSS) saw blades, crafted from high-speed steel, excel in cutting softer materials like wood, plastic, and non-ferrous metals due to their exceptional hardness and heat resistance. Ideal for high-speed operations, these blades provide efficiency and precision in various cutting tasks.

Cemented carbide saw blades, composed of tungsten carbide particles and a cobalt binder, offer robust cutting capabilities for hard materials such as hardwood and MDF. They are durable and effective in demanding cutting applications. Together, the two types of saw blades cater to a broad spectrum of materials, providing tailored solutions for diverse cutting needs.

What are the requirements for the use of saw blades?

When working, the metal chop saw should be ensured to be fixed, the profile positioning in line with the direction of the eating knife, so as not to cause abnormal cutting, do not apply side pressure or curve cutting, feed the knife should be smooth, to avoid the blade impact contact with the workpiece. When abnormal sound and vibration, rough cutting surfaces, or strange odor are found during work, please terminate the operation and check it in time. Do not feed the knife too fast when starting and stopping cutting. If cutting aluminum alloy or other metals, use a special cooling lubricant to prevent the metal cutting band saw from overheating and affecting the cutting quality. When dry cutting, please do not cut continuously for a long time so as not to affect the service life of the metal saw and cutting effect; for wet cutting, water should be added to cut.

What is the maintenance routine for saw blades?

If the jigsaw blades are not used immediately, they should be placed flat or hung up by using the inner holes, and no other objects or feet can be piled on the flat metal cutting chop saw. Attention should be paid to moisture-proof and anti-rust corrosion. When the saw blade is no longer sharp, and the cutting surface is rough, it is best to resharpen it in time. Sharpening should not change the original angle and destroy the dynamic balance.
