Questions and Answers


1 ) How do I go about starting the challenge coin design and ordering process?

The design and ordering process is relatively simple and it starts with you providing us, via email, your coin ideas, reference images, etc. We then take your information that you provided and create a digital mock up (which we call a proof) that we email to you for your review. Along with this proof we will include a price quote. Please note that to create a price quote we require the quantity to be ordered and desired size.

 

2) What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order is 50 coins.

 

3) What file formats are accepted for images?

We prefer images to be in .EPS or .AI formats, if possible. Otherwise, we accept .JPG, .GIF, .PNG, .PPT, .DOC, .PDF, .BMP, .TIFF and .PSD. We are not able to work with .CDR or .PUB file types.

 

4) What metal plating options do you offer for your coins?

We offer gold, silver and copper platings standard with our orders. For an extra charge, we can antique those standard finishes to give an aged look to your coins. Antique finishes also help greatly when your design is mostly metal (die struck) as the darker recessed areas provide a greater contrast for text and fine lines.

 

5) Are you able to manufacture coins in different shapes?

We can manufacture your coins in most any shape. They do not have to be circular, as traditional coins are. Our galleries have some examples of unique shapes.

 

6) What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal,Western Union, T/T

 

7) What are the shipping costs for my order?

We offer free DHL Air Shipping to all physical addresses in the 48 contiguous states only. Please let your sales person know of your desired delivery address, if outside the contiguous 48 states, so they may get you a quote on your shipping costs.

 

8) How long does it take before I receive my coins?

If your coin is shipping to the United States, your typical turn around time is 7-12 business days for manufacturing and 3-5 business days for shipment transit. All other destinations' delivery times differ.

 

9 ) Do I have to pay for a mold fee for a reorder?

You do not pay for a mold fee again on a reorder.

 

10) Can I use one side of a coin's mold from another order for a new order?

Unfortunately we are not able to transfer sides from other coin orders to a new one.

 

11 ) How long is my mold kept on hand for reorders?

We keep your coin's mold for a period of 3 years.
