About products and suppliers

An intermediate bulk container, often known as an IBC, is a reusable container of industrial grade that is mounted on a pallet and used for storing and transporting bulk liquids and powders. The IBC tank, which can also be referred to as a tote, is designed to be stacked and transported using a pallet jack or a forklift when necessary.

Types of IBC containers

It is customary for 275 gallon water tanks to have a standard footprint of 48 inches by 40 inches, which makes shipping, conveying, and transporting the tanks much simpler. The increased capacity, single-pallet footprint, durability, and compatibility of the 330 gallon totes make them a popular choice. They have a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tank on the inside and a galvanized steel cage to keep it safe. The NFPA 30 flammable liquids rule allows the use of 250 gallon totes for the storage of combustible and ignitable materials. They are great for transporting liquids in the food and beverage, chemical, flavoring and fragrance, and pharmaceutical industries, among others.

Uses of IBC containers

IBC totes are an extremely economical and risk-free method you can use to transport a wide variety of materials from one location to another. 275 gallon IBC totes are most commonly used for moving and storing large quantities of liquid goods. 275 gallon totes can also be used to store a wide variety of potentially dangerous chemicals, food syrups such as molasses, rainwater, petrochemical products, a number of acids, liquid fertilizers, and liquid feed.

What are the benefits of using IBC containers?

A tote tank has a tap or valve at the bottom by which its contents can be transferred to smaller containers before being packaged, distributed, and sold in the desired market. IBC water tanks are built to last and are resistant to the rigors of long-distance shipping. Their overall strong design guarantees that they are able to endure extended travels in shipping containers, and the IBC tote adaptor protects the containers from shocks or other forms of interference that may be encountered along the way.
