About products and suppliers

If you are looking for a unique way to customize your clothes, then a printable heat transfer vinyl can help you. A printable heat transfer vinyl is a vinyl that can stick to the fabric once you activate that with heat. You can get printable HTV in rolls or sheets.

What is the use of a printable heat transfer vinyl?

A printable HTV is different from a printable heat transfer paper. A printable heat transfer vinyl like the Cricut iron-on print helps you to print small or large patterns and logos on fabric. Vinyl transfer printing is possible with any image with a wide range of colors. HTV printing can be used to make designs on bags, shirts, t-shirts, frocks, etc. Besides, printed heat transfer vinyl does not get cracked or peeled easily if taken care of. Depending on the quality, the printable iron on vinyl can survive longer than the fabric itself.

How to use a printable HTV

Printing with a printable heat transfer vinyl is easy and hassle-free. A printable vinyl for shirts and other clothes needs a wide-format printer to function. Besides, you also need special inks like Eco-Solvent, Solvent, and Latex inks for vinyl transfer printing. Firstly, you need to set the temperature of the iron as per the instructions of your print-cut-heat transfer vinyl. You can also use a heat press for this. Print the image you want to use for your cloth on the glossy side which is the front side of the vinyl. Let the ink dry and stick it to the mat of your print HTV vinyl machine. Load it into the machine and run to cut it well. Once the cut-out is ready, take out the excess paper from the image. It’s time to peel out the image from the mat. Now, it’s ready to press on the fabric. Now take the heat-transfer image and flatten it on the fabric with the image up to make sure there is no wrinkle. Now place a Teflon sheet over it and use the heat press. The back side of the printed heat transfer vinyl has heat-activated adhesive and so it presses the image on the cloth without taking much time. Make sure to peel the Teflon sheet slowly.
